We have been using the lockdown period to develop a new updated website for WRT. It has just gone live and we would love to hear what you think of it. Please use the contact form to get in touch.
The newspost dated 20 April was sent out in error as part of the site testing – it wasn’t up to date.
The Longshed is still closed and looks pretty ghostly on this image from the security camera…
but we are planning to start some very limited activity in the workshop over the next few weeks. This will involve a few of the volunteers who are working on current projects.
Later in the summer we are planning to increase activity and put information about the workshop projects on screens just inside the big roller doors so that you can see what’s going on.
We will open the Longshed to visitors – hopefully before August – as soon as its safe to do so.
We are very grateful to the Friends of the Longshed. Their regular donations are crucial to enabling us to keep going over the current lockdown period and mean that we can be ready to re-open as soon as possible. If you haven’t already done so, please join the Friends.
Best wishes from the WRT team
